About
Barnyard Fitness and Nutrition first opened its barn doors in June 2020. We are an inclusive gym in beautiful Pemberton, BC welcoming all abilities from beginner to expert gym goers. Our community includes a diverse group of people from new moms and dads to high-performance athletes to members in their early 20’s and late 60’s.
We are a supportive gym that likes to work hard, cheer on each other and have fun. Check your ego at the barn door and get ready to sweat!

Meet Candice

After coaching for so many years in Whistler, I wanted to bring a vibrant gym closer to home in Pemberton. I always loved CrossFit and had a vision to create a unique fitness environment that blended strength and functional movement. We started with just five members in June 2020 and quickly evolved from there!
The barn transformed over the years, removing walls, adding insulation and continuing to upgrade with new equipment. With a lot of love and team effort, I’m incredibly proud of the gym we’ve built today.
Barnyard Fitness and Nutrition is not an intimidating environment. We’re just a bunch of mountain town people trying to get fit and stay fit! My favourite thing to do is watch people work out, transform, and see the positive mental and physical shifts.
I am a Level 1 Crossfit Trainer, Level 1 Certified Nutrition Coach with Precision Nutrition, and Burgener Certified Weight Lifting.
Outside of Barnyard, I love to mountain bike, ski, and spend time with my family and friends in this beautiful place we get to call home. If you meet me you’ll soon discover my love for pets and supporting animal rescue with Pemberton PAWS.
